I don’t know about you but I am quite envious of people who can pull together beautiful looking photo and video packages of their holidays and life events. It’s always seemed like a huge job to me so I was a bit sceptical when I came across Flipagram.
The app is designed to help you to create short packages or moments using photos from various sources – your phone, Facebook, Instagram etc. You can then edit the photos, add filters and text as well as choose how long you want the video to be. My favourite part and what really completes the package is the ability to add your favourite tunes from your iTunes . So many memories of people and places are wrapped up not only in images but also music.
Anyway, it is a very nifty little app – if you know how to use Instagram or Facebook it is really very easy. Here’s a little example I made in about 10 minutes with snaps from our recent trip to Italy – ahhhh missing it already. Don’t mind the cheesy tune! The link is here if you can’t see it below.
I guess Flipagram is really a slide show for the 21st century. I didn’t mind the odd slide show growing up but they did tend to drag on a bit! This is a great way to relive memories and I’ll certainly be creating many more little videos to share with family and friends.
Not just for memory keeping.. the marketer in me can see a myriad of uses for this in a business context also as long as the watermark is removed.
Cost: Free, however there is a one off charge if you want to remove the watermark
